About The Artist & Business....

Jenny Shlemon is an Assyrian artist and self made entrepreneur. Her artistic and business skills are self taught through a lot of trial and error. She works with resin, wood burning, painting, alcohol inks, laser art, drawing and digital design.

Around 2017, Jenny started selling her handmade art locally in her Illinois hometown and after a lot of hard work, she was able to expand her business immensely and evolve it to what it is now. She was a lost community college student trying to find a path in life and ended up dropping out of dental hygiene school in 2020-2021 to pursue her business full time and she did not look back.

She designs her earrings, stickers, magnets and more and some of her products are hand drawn original art. All of the acrylic items she sells are made in house with her laser cutter. Jenny has shipped to every state in the United States and to over 25 different countries. Her unique artworks are also in select fun retail stores sprinkled around the globe.

She is very passionate about creating unique pieces of work that stand out and make people laugh. Her style has become extremely recognizable over the years as one can see that her products have similar themes.

One of her iconic acrylic earrings was featured in a Netflix movie called "Do Revenge!" Her products have also been featured on VICE, Buzzfeed, Women's Health Mag and The Everymom. Jenny looks to her hardworking immigrant father as a huge inspiration. She set out to create a life of happiness and passion for herself instead of being unhappy working under other people. Not only is she a creative artist, but also an educator and author. Jenny loves inspiring other creatives and teaching them how she paved the way for herself. You can read all about her journey and her tips and tricks in her e-book called "Small Business Success" available down below!
